STATEMENT OF INTENT
In their first pre-season friendly, played on Sat. 9th July, the new-look first team squad crushed lower league opponents Mott MacDonald 9-0 with the goals being shared around. Obviously bigger battles lie ahead but it was a useful exercise in blowing away the cob webs and integrating the new boys.Players of both teams donated their match fees to the Shaun Whiter & Joey Abbs appeal fund.

Ashley's main responsibilities will be to oversee the management of of the 1st team squad and staff whilst promoting the development of youth players from the Reserves,`A` & U'17 teams.
